Second tanker is looted off Venezuela

22.12.2025

Pirates from United States continue misbehaving. Last Saturday, they seized by using military forces a second petroleum tanker, containing Venezuelan petroleum bound for China. Yesterday they tried to seize another oil tanker. However, on that occasion they failed: as tanker presumably linked to Iran was able to maneuver and escape. While a pursuit from United States failed as if it were an action movie. We are dwelling in a marsh of intolerance. As Marco Rubio says, he cannot tolerate Venezuela and Venezuela cannot tolerate piracy from United States either.

Impasse continues escalating. United Nations Security Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. New York City time. China and Russia have already endorsed Venezuela's position: because maritime law is being violated by United States piracy. United States desperately seeks to steal Venezuelan petroleum. They look short on cash, unable to honor any financial commitments. It is significant though that another Chevron operated oil tanker departed Venezuela: with destination to refineries at Gulf of Mexico in United States. It is likely that United States pirates will not seize Chevron's oil tanker. Which leads us to a question: is Chevron more privileged than other Venezuela's clients? China, Iran, India, Cuba, any of Venezuela's clients have as much right as Chevron to receive their petroleum free of piracy.

Susie Wiles, chief of staff at White House, recently stated that Donald Trump would not cease piracy and boat shootings, until President Maduro asks for clemency. This seems highly unlikely as Venezuela has endured so much hardship, so many regime change attempts.,that we are just used to living in adversity. South American countries hypocritically are asking for peace: while rooting for United States war for regime change in Venezuela. Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Panama along with Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana are all rooting for regime change in Venezuela, as being sided with United States would guarantee to them smiles from Donald Trump. Sovereignty of all of those countries remains in jeopardy. However, those will be internal affairs they would have to solve, as Venezuela respects other countries decisions and postures.

We are fully committed to our alliance with Alba: which has deplored second oil tanker seizure provoked by United States. Antigua & Barbuda, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Cuba, and Nicaragua remain as Venezuela's allies, as well as China, Russia, Iran, and perhaps North Korea. Venezuela is not alone: we will be able to fight for as long as necessary. Venezuela, however, has realized that oil tankers will need military companionship, all along Caribbean waters and adjacent Atlantic Ocean. Such companionship was likely discussed by foreign ministers of Iran and Venezuela, as they held another telephone call. Iran has proposed an enhancement to an already strong partnership with Venezuela. Iran is experienced in dodging United States seizures: as proven with failed seizure attempt of oil tanker Bella-1, which managed to escape United States piracy harassment. International law should prevail.

International law is not legally contested anywhere. What United States does is to pretend international law doesn't exist: and rather apply questionable United States domestic law. Solution would be to persuade or force United States to follow international law. That can be done through either diplomacy or war. It cannot be ruled out that within 2026, 2027 or 2028, World War III will start: as there are several hot spots that remain contested. Russia's advances are not being honored and United States pretends to continue being a policeman, including sensitive areas such as Chinese island of Taiwan, which United States stubbornly forces to remain separate from its homeland: depriving Taiwanese citizens from representation at United Nations. Vladimir Putin also commented that California should be returned to Mexico, since United States is so obsessed in looting Venezuela.

Territory of Venezuela is being defended by Venezuelans, both diplomatically and militarily. Venezuelans who fled our country engage into regime change politics and they will have no chance in forming a government in Venezuela: because Venezuelans who are enduring sanctions and military aggression will not graciously give up our power: to exiles pretending to come back to form a new government. That would not make absolutely any sense. United States cannot be seen as an ally in any circumstances: because it promotes war against Venezuela, piracy against Venezuela, and utter chaos in the Caribbean Sea.

We shall see if in near future Trinidad & Tobago might be expelled from Caricom, as she has been harsh towards Caribbean community. If Trinidad and Tobago were to leave Caricom, remaining countries of Caricom will not be left alone: as they can certainly join Alba which is enjoying a boost. When United States petroleum companies such as Conoco Phillips or ExxonMobil left Venezuela, because they did not wish to abide by local laws, they did not realize that our sovereign oil fields became available for other investors. If Trinidad & Tobago leaves Caricom, other countries will step in and conquer its place. Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was irritated because Venezuela has reminded international community that Trinidad used to be part of Venezuela until 1797. History cannot be changed.

By same token, Guyana must be reminded that Essequibo was Venezuelan until 1899, and perhaps is still Venezuelan. While border disputes are not an urgent topic at this time, it is important to remind other countries that they still exist and that Venezuela has a history of its territory and resources being looted. We will fight to defend our property. Defense Minister of Venezuela, Vladimir Padrino López, continues reminding that Venezuela's military is well prepared for defending our country from any attack. However, it seems that United States prefers to concentrate on petroleum tankers because it would entail less casualties. However, we don't know for how long this situation could persist because first two seizures of petroleum tankers caught us off guard: as Venezuela assumed that United States was still a civilized country. We didn't realize that they reverted to 17th and 18th century piracy.

Venezuela is getting to point that it will have to shoot helicopters aiding operations of seizing petroleum tankers, which from now on will likely be escorted. Even if United States seizes all of our petroleum trade, it will just mean further economic war and further hardship for Venezuelan people. But in no way that would mean that we would be persuaded to engage in a regime change. Venezuelans know that we hold most reserves of petroleum on this planet. We are determined to keep them for ourselves so that we can sell them to market: during next few decades or centuries. Venezuela is thinking long term. In short term we are not interested in quickly exhausting our reserves, for benefit of petroleum multinationals: who are unwilling to accept our terms of business within the sovereign country of Venezuela.

Perhaps ExxonMobil will be allowed to loot Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana, as their business practices seem more aggressive than Chevron's. However, that doesn't mean that they would repeat that strategy in Venezuela. As a matter of fact, it would be best for Venezuela to continue relying on petroleum investors from outside the United States, because United States might try to militarily occupy our country with pretext that they have investment locally. Piracy methods of United States have made it a pariah country, which cannot be trusted. Venezuelan authorities are urged to continue oil exploration and distribution through other business partners, keeping United States contribution to an absolute minimum.

Many months have elapsed since United States started harassing Venezuela. Information is increasingly repetitive. No action is producing any fear. Information becomes boring. Intransigence and complaints of Marco Rubio about an intolerable situation are laughable. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is already set to win United States presidency in 2028, according to latest polls. Ideology of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is quite socialist. It will be quite interesting to imagine how United States will flip switch from capitalism to communism in just a few years. If Donald Trump engages in World War III between now and 2028, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez will need to stop those wars. Bernie Sanders, who is a close ally of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, has already denounced that these Venezuela war games are just an excuse for dodging domestic United States problems.

Donald Trump is having such a hard time in United States: that only supporters he has left are Cuban and Venezuelan exiles, who failed in building more prosperous Cuban and Venezuelan societies. They just left to United States: to complain and promote regime change, which always fail. It looks like Cuba and Venezuela are like Woody Woodpecker, while United States is Coyote who always gets crashed by most ridiculous accidents: Woody Woodpecker always wins.

President of Brazil Lula Silva continues insinuating he would be a mediator for the Venezuelan crisis with the United States. While Qatar recently hosted a national day feast at Caracas embassy, to which foreign minister Yvan Gil attended. Qatar could be a viable partner for dialogue between Venezuela and United States: considering that Qatar has a close relationship with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. However, Venezuela has no guarantee that either Qatar or Brazil could actually have a hidden motive to promote regime change in Venezuela, through soft power which would be unacceptable for Venezuela. For time being, Venezuela needs to enhance its relationship with existing allies, and very carefully consider reasons for both Qatar and Brazil intending to promote a dialogue: because dialogue seems impossible as Marco Rubio says that Venezuela is not tolerable.

Marco Rubio needs to learn to tolerate before engaging into dialogue, because it will be an utter waste of time to promote a high level Venezuelan commission to dialogue, with high level commission of United States, if beforehand we are already told that we are an intolerable country. Accusations about being friends of Hezbollah, friends of Hamas, friends of Iran may actually be true to some extent. Iran is one of Venezuela's closest allies: we cherish our alliance with Iran and moral support to Hezbollah and Hamas as they help Palestine to fight Israel. Israel is known to promote regime change in Venezuela as well. It is just a matter to find anyone that United States labels as terrorist, or to find anyone who is sanctioned by United States OFAC, to immediately become a Venezuelan friend.

Friends of my friends are my friends. Friends of my enemies are my enemies. Enemies of my friends are my enemies. Enemies of my enemies are my friends. Western hemisphere is Venezuela's hemisphere. Venezuela has a sphere of influence in the Caribbean Sea and Northern South America. Any foreign policy that United States sets in Caribbean or northern South America touches Venezuela's sphere of influence, so United States will have to dialogue with Venezuela. If United States wishes to engage into war, it might have to suffer casualties because every day Venezuela is getting better prepared to fight.
