Puerto Rico and Panama war launchpads

08.09.2025

Venezuela sent two additional fighter jets into proximity of United States ship Jason Dunham, right after President Trump ordered Venezuelan military aircraft to be shot down. Fortunately planes were not shut down this time, suggesting that both countries are considering responsible escalation. However, Vice President Vance says that he doesn't care about killing before asking. He has been confronted by United States public opinion, considering that international law should not be violated. Venezuela's priority is to receive and dissuade United States with Chinese J10-C airplanes that could possibly shoot down F-35s if they intend to approach Venezuelan airspace.

Amphibious military exercises have been conducted at Puerto Rico for United States military and at Margarita Island for Venezuelan military. Both teams are preparing for amphibious combat. Meanwhile, United States has also sent hawks from United States Southern Command into Panama. Unfortunately, Panama lacks their own military and neighboring Costa Rica also lacks national military, which would explain why those two Central American countries are so entrenched into relying on the United States for their defense. It could be plausible to ask ourselves if Panama and Costa Rica are actually sovereign countries, as it seems that they must follow whatever United States tells them to do. Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda formally complained that United States military exercises in nearby Puerto Rico should not be conducted, as it is violating Caribbean zone of peace: Antigua and Barbuda is very close to Puerto Rico.

Military deployment of United States to invade Venezuela is already providing upset in various countries such as Panama and Antigua and Barbuda, whose populations are starting to protest. Puerto Rico calls for independence are increasingly noticed, as they feel that United States mainland only considers Puerto Rico as part of the United States when there is a military emergency, such as the impasse with Venezuela. Normally Puerto Rico receives little help from United States government, they only can vote for a governor and they cannot vote for the president of the United States. If Puerto Rico were to become an independent country, it could immediately apply for membership at United Nations, Caricom, Celac, and Alba.

Guyana's illegitimate president-elect was formally awarded the presidency of Guyana for five extra years. Ifaan Ali seems in a bad mood and responds in an aggressive manner to independent journalists, who asked him if there were any irregularities in the elections, as suggested by international observers. Irfaan Ali should realize that he is just as illegitimate as Nicolás Maduro, which provides certain leverage in future Essequibo Venezuela negotiations: as both Nicolas Maduro and Ali are regarded as illegitimate by important sectors of domestic and international communities.

Ukraine is not doing well. The city of Kiev has received huge bombardments by drones and missiles, providing a preliminary view on what a possible United States invasion into Caracas look like. Even though defense air systems are capable of repelling many incoming missiles and drones, there is always the possibility that some missiles and drones, shot by the enemy, could gain entrance to the territory.

Some Venezuelans would like Nicolás Maduro to be ousted from the Venezuelan presidency, considering a plausible United States invasion as an alternative. People are also realizing that getting rid of Nicolás Maduro would not necessarily become the end of the Bolivarian revolution, as it happened in Iran when the helicopter that was carrying the president fell down and the president of Iran died. Similar killing of president of Yemen remains recent. Usually regimes stay fine: a new chain of command is designed. New leaders are appointed for those countries and resentment for fighting against hostile regimes becomes entrenched. Endless civil wars and retaliations should be expected during the next following years.

Previous examples in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan also provide a trend of not being able to impose democracy into any country that is invaded by the United States, the latter then has no idea on what to do. It looks like both United States and Venezuela will continue escalating by turns, with none of them daring to shoot first. In that case, the Venezuelan fortress at land and sea would become more difficult to penetrate by United States forces, which would require additional deployment of aircraft and navy ships. However, such operation is expensive and United States domestic economy is suffering from high unemployment and increased expectations of inflation, as interest rates will be decreased by the Federal Reserve. On the other hand, United States has been so upset by reality that an Asian battlefield against Russia, China, North Korea or Iran would be harmful for United States military; however, they need to make use of their new department of war.

United States believes that attacking neighboring Venezuela, which is a smaller enemy, could increase United States odds of winning. However, proven reserves of ample ammunition and drones, locally produced by factories designed by Iran and Russia guarantee that Venezuela will be able to defend formally. Only concern is if United States F-35s come into Venezuelan territory before Venezuela actually gets delivery of the Chinese J-10C fighters, which along Sukhois from Russia could perhaps provide a video game show of aircraft military combat. If United States amphibious units arrive into Venezuelan shores, they will be met by regular military and militias, armed with standard war weapons. to repeat the endless stories of Vietnam and Afghanistan. If Nicolás Maduro is removed, it is likely that the government places Vice President Delcy Rodríguez or a high level figure from the Venezuelan military, ensuring administrative continuity.

It is unlikely that military will accept placing Edmundo González Urrutia, as he has ordered foreign invasion into Venezuela which is considered a treason to the homeland, according to Venezuela's penal code. International community should prepare for United Nations General Assembly on September 21st, whose location should be moved out of New York City into Geneva headquarters of United Nations. We will see calls of United Nations being moved permanently into Geneva or perhaps an unexpected alternative location, because United States is denying visas to Palestine state authorities, which have already been recognized by most countries in the plane, including major western powers in Europe.

United States and Israel are increasingly isolated. Israel has been accused of crimes of war against Gaza, while United States is currently being accused of crimes of war against Venezuela. Israel has no sympathy for International Court of Justice. Marco Rubio in representation of the United States has said that United Nations are irrelevant, only jurisdiction he likes are New York tribunals that declared existence of Cartel of the Suns and Tren de Aragua, both of which are not even in official registered listing of terrorist organizations stipulated by Organization of United Nations, to be meeting soon in Geneva, Switzerland if the previous location of New York City is no longer suitable for world peace.

Regarding incident of a speedboat shot by the United States, most likely scenario was that firing was performed in Trinidad and Tobago territorial waters: because Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago are very close. They have mutually agreed maritime boundaries, which means there are no international waters between Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. Waters between both of our countries are either Venezuelan or Trinidad and Tobagoan. Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar recently welcomed United States aggression to Venezuelan boats, while Trinidad and Tobago authorities in the past have also shot Venezuelan migrants. International law must be applied all over the planet. Wars remain horrible every day. It will be just a matter of time until Russia completely conquests Ukraine.

Vigorous response was seen from Yemen, which is successfully bombarding airport of Eilat in Israel. Egypt might even get into the Gaza conflict as there are suspicions that Egypt would like to enter the desert in southern Israel. Protests in Israel and Ukraine against their warlike governments increase every day. Ukrainians do not want to be drafted into war and Gaza genocide remains as horrible as ever. There are calls to expel both Israel and United States out of United Nations because they don't recognize jurisdiction of international law, which must be obeyed by all participating countries.

Electoral South American map features presidential elections for Chile, which are approaching. Communist candidate is gaining popularity, which would further move balance of power in Latin America to the left. Right-wing governments are having a hard time justifying United States invasion into Venezuela, balance of power seems to be shifting markedly left due to successes of Gustavo Petro and Claudia Sheinbaum in Colombia and Mexico. President Lula of Brazil is asking for peace. International community is already used to ambiguity from President Lula, who no longer seems a relevant player. Perhaps APEC summit that will be conducted in South Korea later in 2025 will provide President Lula an opportunity to regain some lost influence.

President Noboa from Ecuador is accused of being a cartel narco terrorist, which is same accusation that president of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro also receives. Father of President Noboa is a banana plantation oligarch that has specialized access to Ecuadorian ports on the Pacific Ocean. Cocaine is reportedly transported into Mexico, United States and Europe through banana cargoes, whose peels look like bananas but are filled inside with cocaine. This accusation is not being well followed by United States regime, which insists in condemning Nicolas Maduro and Caribbean drug trade, which only accounts for 5% of total America's drug trade according to 2025 United Nations published reports.

This week we will be following further movements in Panama, Puerto Rico, and other Caribbean countries, whose support for decreasing hostilities should be emphasized as deployment of United States ships and airplanes is located in the northern Caribbean, rather than southern Caribbean: Puerto Rico is in northern Caribbean. This week will determine if Puerto Rican population likes usage provided by United States government to their land, or if they will apply for change.

Attempts for change in many countries are usually rejected. Recent examples include Cooperative Republic of Guyana, where Irfaan Ali has become an illegitimate president for a second term, while APNU and WIN parties have been contesting and explaining to the world that international observations provided inadequate election conditions, which might warrant celebration of new elections. However, it is likely that Irfaan Ali's government will prevail, which means that relations between Venezuela and Guyana will continue being rocky. There is a project of building an Essequibo refinery to unite Venezuelan and Guyanese oil industries, which might have to be postponed until tensions between United States, Venezuela and Guyana wane. At this time those tensions are escalating rather than waning.

Venezuelans are given opportunity to register as militia members online through Patria platform, which means that we will soon have ten million militia members against United States invasion. We are doing everything we can to avoid a military incursion into Venezuela, because we don't want to repeat destruction experiences learned by Iraq, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. United States continues deploying more weaponry and insulting us, as Vice President Vance pronounced in complete disregard for international law. China, Iran, and Russia might increase deployment of further weaponry into Caribbean, which unfortunately will no longer remain the peace zone that we once wanted Caribbean to be. We should prepare for third world war to be fought in Caribbean Sea.
